Hi, Fans! Or, at least hopefully fan. Al here with a quick update and some merch news.

We have about a billion spring and summer shows booked right now, and we are booking more every day. The Post Mortems are hitting all their favorite night spots near and dear to all our hearts, so come check us out! If we aren’t playing in your town yet, contact us and let’s work to make it happen!

We have new shirts for sale, as well! So, seriously, come on out to the show when we hit your town.

TTFN — Tah Tah For Now!

Hello, Post Mortemers and Mortemites! We have some big news about an important show being staged in the Quad Cities. The Post Mortems are hosting two bands from out of town, Jake Dilley and Ready the Destroyer, at The River Music Experience in Davenport on March 27th.

We need the help of every single one of you to make this the best show we have ever thrown. Tickets are being sold right now for $5 apiece, and every penny of that money goes right back towards keeping the touring bands on the road. I cannot stress enough how important it is for us to make this a wildly successful show. If you only come to one show for us, do your best to make it this one.

Take er easy…

Hello, fans! Al here, letting you know that the first steps towards a beautiful sounding album have been taken: We have studio recorded, professional sounding drum tracks!

That’s right! After an eight hour day in the studio, we have the drums laid down and ready to go.  I believe we were able to capture the essence of Al on Drums in this session — loose tempos, blast beats, hair and blood. Now, the real work begins.

We are going to be sitting down with all the drum takes, picking the best-of-the-best and demoing bass and vocal sounds.  We want all of our studio visits to be as efficient and productive as possible, and that means taking the time between visits to figure out exactly how we want to sound.

We’ll keep you up to date, and keep an eye out for the finished product in late summer or early fall.

We are set and ready to play at The Mill in Iowa City on January 3^rd! The show will be Sullivan Gang’s CD release party, and they have invited us to open the night up. The show kicks off at 9:00PM with a $5 cover; so come out early, eat some good food, and hang out with The Post Mortems in Iowa City!

Hello, neighborinos! We are working to get a gig rolling in Iowa City, so keep an eye to the sky and ear to ground. If it goes through, we’ll be rolling through town early in January.

We hope to finally return and rock Iowa City into the past. Devin recommends you start watching Timecop now to prepare for possible outcomes.
