Drum Machine
Hello, fans! Al here, letting you know that the first steps towards a beautiful sounding album have been taken: We have studio recorded, professional sounding drum tracks!
That’s right! After an eight hour day in the studio, we have the drums laid down and ready to go. I believe we were able to capture the essence of Al on Drums in this session — loose tempos, blast beats, hair and blood. Now, the real work begins.
We are going to be sitting down with all the drum takes, picking the best-of-the-best and demoing bass and vocal sounds. We want all of our studio visits to be as efficient and productive as possible, and that means taking the time between visits to figure out exactly how we want to sound.
We’ll keep you up to date, and keep an eye out for the finished product in late summer or early fall.
